Design

  • Visual typographic covers and color palette inspired by Herman Miller Brochures designed by Don Ervin

  • The first two section’s covers were designed with horizontal presentation in mind

  • Main typeface used: Grotesque MT Std (due to its similarities to Sans Serifs used at the time of Nelson’s career)

  • Formal design decisions inspired by core modernist princples of Nelson’s writing

  • The title is taken directly from a Nelson quote

There are two kinds of people and kinds of work.
There are people who file and people who pile.
There are doers and dreamers.

- George Neslon
